Before I owned my Z, I had a '97 Kawasaki ZX-6 Ninja. Everywhere I went, I heard the, "I was thinking about getting one of those, but..." thing. And almost everyone mixes up the makes and models. "Man, my buddy has one of those...a Honda Ninja," or a "Suzuki CBR" or a "Kawasaki GSX". The downside about a bike is that if it looks like someone's going to ask a supid question, you can't just roll up the windows. I had one riced out civic hatchback guy ask me if my bike was fast. I told him that I ran a low 11 at the track, and that it was a fair time for my bike. He gave me a look that said, 'bs', and said, 'There's no way it's that fast. My friend's Supra isn't even that fast.' I said, "My bike's slow, for a sport bike," then put down my face shield and rode off.
